Terms and Conditions for The Cheeky TeaCup Mobile Tea Party Service
Thank you for choosing The Cheeky TeaCup for your mobile tea party experience. We are delighted to bring our signature charm, elegance, and attention to detail to your special event. To ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for both you and our team, we have established the following Terms and Conditions.
By booking our services, you agree to abide by these terms, which outline the responsibilities of both the Client (you) and the Provider (The Cheeky TeaCup). These terms are designed to protect both parties, clarify expectations, and ensure that your event runs smoothly from start to finish. We look forward to creating a memorable tea party experience for you and your guests!
Guest Count and Changes
- Any requests to add additional guests must be made in writing prior to 7 business days prior to the event.
- At no time is the number of guests allowed to drop below the original contracted number for a reduced fee.
2. Setup and Cleanup
- The estimated setup time for 10 guests is 1 hour, and the estimated cleanup time is 1 hour. These times may increase if the number of attendees exceeds the original guest count.
- If the Provider is required to set up or tear down tables and chairs, an additional fee of $75 will apply.
- All tables and chairs must be set up prior to the Provider’s arrival.
3. Event Duration
- The standard party time is 2 hours, with the option to extend by 1 additional hour for a fee of $45.
- Guests are kindly requested to relocate to a designated area within the venue no later than 15 minutes after the conclusion of the event to allow the Provider’s team to begin cleanup.
- If guests remain in the primary event space beyond this grace period, a fee of $15 will be charged for each additional 15-minute interval (or any part thereof). These charges will be automatically applied to the card on file.
- If the venue is the Client’s residence, the Client and their guests must move to another location within the residence or vacate the premises entirely after the 15-minute grace period to allow cleanup to begin.
4. Leftover Food and Beverages
- The Provider does not supply or bring to-go containers for any leftover food or beverages.
- Any unconsumed food or beverages remain the responsibility of the Client, including the provision of appropriate containers if desired.
- The Provider is not liable for the handling, packaging, or storage of leftover items.
5. Event Details and Deadlines
- The Client must provide the following details no later than 2 business weeks prior to the event.
- Table dimensions, shape, and number of tables to be used.
- Event color scheme.
- The Provider will make every effort to accommodate color scheme requests but is limited by inventory availability.
- The final menu must be confirmed via email by the Client no later than 7 business days prior to the event.
6. Rescheduling Policy
- The Client may reschedule the event no later than 2 business weeks prior to the event, provided the Provider has the requested date available.
- The rescheduled event must occur within 3 months of the original event date.
- No rescheduling is permitted within 7 business days of the event.
- All deposits are non-refundable.
7. Breakage and Damage Fees
- Breakage fees apply for any damaged items. The fee is based on the item’s current market value, determined using several online sources.
- Example: Most teacups have a replacement value of approximately $25.
- No painting or use of paint products is permitted within 10 feet of the china to prevent damage or contamination. Disregarding this rule will result in a $25 charge per damaged item.
8. Destination Fee
- A destination fee will be applied to any event located more than 20 miles outside of zip code 30328. The fee is calculated on a sliding scale.
9. Limitations of Service
- The Provider will only remove trash created by the Provider and will not provide additional venue cleaning services.
- The Provider is not responsible for any damage to the venue or its contents, except for damage caused by the Provider’s negligence.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Georgia.
- Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through mediation, arbitration, or court proceedings.
11. Changes to Terms
- The Provider reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
